Roll and Spin

You play a carnival game with a fair eight-sided die (faces 1 through 8) and a spinner divided into three equal sectors: two green and one red.

The game consists of rounds. In each round you roll the die and are immediately paid the face value in dollars; you keep this money no matter what happens afterwards. Then:

• If the roll is 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5, the game ends immediately.
• If the roll is 6, 7 or 8, you spin the spinner. If it lands on red, the game ends. If it lands on green, you play another round (roll again, get paid again, same rules).
